Ready for summer!

Yesterday I pulled out Chloe's 12 month summer clothes and        put away a lot of 6 month things that are too short now.  It is always so exciting to get out new clothes and clear some drawers.  I can't wait until she can actually wear some of it.

Today my sister thought she had jury duty so she took the day off but then ended up not having to do it so she came over!  We are trying to extend Chloe's awake time to 2 1/2 hours between naps so with that extra 1/2 hour, we tried the pool again.

Last time we went to the pool school had just let out and she was very uncomfortable.  This time there were enough little kids to make her excited but not so many that it scared her.

This is her new excited smile.

Most of our pictures turned out a little blurry because my camera was running out of battery.  We should have taken some more with my sister's phone but oh well, we will be back!

Last time when we sat her down in the shallow end she immediately cried.  This time she was pretty excited about it.

We went for a walk over to the large play structure.  I can't wait until she is old enough to climb around on it by herself!  We may need to save a bit to get yearly passes again.
Checking out the tunnel

She can get up on her knees but she can't move on them!

I can't wait until she can swim all summer!

Chloe's Snow Day

Chloe finally got some snow!  Tim took her out on Thursday night while I was out and about.  She loves the sled!

Overnight we got a few more inches so we brought her back out this morning.
Silly snow pants!

Parker from down the street took Chloe for a little ride!

We sat her in the snow and she was very intrigued.  She wasn't afraid of it but didn't seem to love it either.  She seemed to be doing a lot of looking around and studying her surroundings.

Now that we got our good snow, let's get some sun!

Rainy Day Play

It rained most of the day so it gave us a chance to play with some things I picked up at Lowes.  Lowes has lots of samples of different tiles and wood flooring.  I grabbed a few for Chloe to check out.

This face is so funny!

Really inspecting it

They were kind of heavy but she picked them up alright.

Pretty happy!

Taking a nap?

Screaming,

Moving them around
Chloe plays in the kitchen a lot when I cook so I was pretty excited to find this idea on Pinterest.  You clear out a low drawer, and a cabinet if you want, and it becomes their drawer.  She was a fan!

Weekend with Mommy

Tim went to St. Louis for a night this weekend for the Confirmation Retreat which left Chloe and I to fend for ourselves for a bit.

The first thing we did was play with some makeshift paint.  I added powdered frosting to some yogurt for Chloe to explore.  The last time we painted, the food coloring started to turn her skin red but this stuff didn't stain her at all.

She liked squeezing it in her hands.

We also tried finger foods.
She puts everything in her mouth...except bananas.

Tim came back Saturday night but he is usually gone most of Sunday.  We were lucky to finally have a nice day so we spent some of it exploring flour and grass.

She got kinda dirty so we took a sink bath.

Her diaper was filling with water and she was very intrigued.
Never a dull moment with Miss Chloe.
